FOFA Exhibition – “Meet and Treat” Panel Discussion
Concurrent with the exhibition, there were several educational activities that the gallery organized. One was a public panel discussion between myself, Blake McKay (a local chef and food stylist) and Dr. Santoshi Ikeda (Research Chair, specializing in food politics). The evening discussion centered around the topic of sugar, food politics and ethical consumption and was held in the gallery, while the 3 of us casually made cupcakes for the audience to enjoy. The cupcakes were, of course, vegan and made with fair trade and organic ingredients!
